This class helps students develop emotional awareness, empathy, and practical tools for handling big feelings through a Biblical lens. Students will learn how to recognize and understand their emotions, respond in healthy ways, and support others with kindness and compassion.

Through engaging discussions, movement-based activities, real-life scenarios, and hands-on projects, students will practice important life skills such as communication, self-regulation, conflict resolution, and encouragement.

Each class is age-appropriate, with content and conversations tailored to the maturity level of the group. Students will build these skills over time through consistent practice, helping them grow emotionally and spiritually.

Focus Areas Include:
• Learning the science of how emotions affect our brains
• Developing empathy and perspective-taking
• Learning healthy coping and response strategies for everyday triggers
• Practicing encouragement and kindness
• Applying Biblical principles to emotions

Homework (if any):

There will be Occasional skills to practice each week, not always a homework assignment.
