Algebra 1

Algebra builds on the concepts learned in Pre-Algebra and introduces a new way of thinking about math. In this course, students will use letters and symbols to represent numbers and explore mathematical relationships. Through problem-solving, pattern recognition, and logical reasoning, students will learn how to express mathematical ideas clearly and confidently. My goal is to strengthen each student’s math skills while introducing and reinforcing core algebraic concepts in a supportive environment.

This class builds strong early math skills using the All About Math curriculum through hands-on learning, games, songs, chants, and visual tools. Students will explore numbers, patterns, and basic operations in a fun and engaging environment.

Grades 6–8Self-Paced

Rather than focusing only on vocabulary, students experience ASL as part of a larger cultural and communication world. Each week highlights how Deaf people live, learn, communicate, and participate in society, while also examining how accessibility shapes everyday life in schools, communities, and the world.
